Participatory Endowment, an Extraordinary Strategy for the Development of Transcendental Culture of Endowment and Vow.

Seyyed Morteza Bakhtiari, in the Eshareh program of Khorasan Razavi Broadcasting, expressing condolences over the demise of fellow citizens in Kermanshah province in the earthquake said, “The Endowment Week is a good opportunity that people of Islamic Iran get familiar with the effects and blessings of this good tradition”.
“The donators during the past centuries and ages, have devoted a part of their property to the Astan Quds Razavi and we see the fruits and results of this divine movement today in the service to the community” he said.
“By the emphasis of the Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, the opportunity has been provided for all the lovers and devotees of Imam Reza (A.S.) who can participate in building establishments that are under construction for the welfare and respecting the pilgrims” Bakhtiari said.
“Through performed plans, the pilgrims, neighbors and lovers of Imam Reza (A.S.) can participate in the project of heavenly vow, specially dedicated to endowment of the holy Qur'an” he asserted.
Deputy Custodian of the Astan Quds Razavi, referring to providing endowment consultation to the enthusiasts of this field said, “During these days, missionaries will be stationed in the endowed properties, en-route mosques, Razavi Holy Shrine and service stations to pilgrims. And plans are being made to promote the endowment.”
“Holding a meeting to appreciate the donors and the people active in endowment and vow field, are among the other programs of the Endowment Week” Bakhtiari acknowledged.
Expectation of 3,500,000 Pilgrims in the Last Ten Days of Safar
In another part of his speech, referring to the programs of Astan Quds Razavi in the last ten days of Safar, Bakhtiari stated, “According to the estimations of the accountable and service departments, 300,000 walking pilgrims, 4000 ceremonial religious processions, and a total of 3,500,000 pilgrims will be present at the holy Mashhad and the Heavenly Court of Imam Reza (A.S.).”
Acknowledging the efforts of the travel service center in Khorasan Razavi province and cooperation of the provincial services, security and law enforcement departments to provide the most qualified services to the pilgrims he said, “Astan Quds Razavi, as the main host of pilgrims, especially the walking pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S.) has mobilized all its capabilities and forces to provide proper services.”
“The development of hospitality culture and the orienting public assistance and participation has been one of the approaches of Astan Quds Razavi in ​​recent years” he said.
“This year, 60,000 of noble people of Mashhad and the neighbors of Imam Reza (A.S.) host the pilgrims in their homes, and 300,000 servings of food are provided by the people and the donors” Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi expressed.
