Welcoming the Pilgrims of the Last Ten Days of Safar Must Be a Constant and Expanding Cultural Trend.

Ayatollah Alam al-Hoda on the sidelines of the cultural center meeting of the last ten days of Safar, said, “As we in the entrance permission of Imam Reza (A.S.) call him the owner of the city, we must also serve his pilgrims and in the last ten days of Safar, host the guests of Mashhad.”
Expressing that we Mashhadis, should believe that the owner of our city is Imam Reza (A.S.) he said, “We do so in the entrance permission of His Highness, when we say ‘the Owner of this Holy Mashhad’.
Representative of the Supreme Leader in Khorasan Razavi, highlighting that during all our lives we resolve our problems with the help of Imam Reza (A.S.) noted, “In these last days of Safar, which is the time of the attention of all people from inside and outside the country to the Eighth Imam’s (A.S.) Shrine, every Mashhadi must know that they have the mission of hosting the guests of Imam Reza (A.S.).”
“As the people of Karbala open their homes to the people in Arbaeen and they serve the people, we must know that the mission to serve the pilgrims, especially in the last ten days of Safar is on us” Alam al-Hoda added.
Stating that it is a good practice for Mashhadi families, on the last ten days of Safar to set up a family program to receive one or two pilgrims’ families, he said: "They should consider the pilgrims as their own relatives."
The Representative of the Supreme Leader in Khorasan Razavi called the Mashhadi's families, the servants of Imam Reza (A.S.) and said, “The reception of pilgrims, especially in these days should be performed as a constant and developing cultural trend in Mashhad.”
Alam al-Hoda also called on the authorities to bring all the facilities of their institutions and departments to the extent that of their power to host the pilgrims, and said, “All the authorities should know that during these days all the managing institutions and departments of the country in this province must only serve the Imam Reza (A.S.) and his guests.”
“As people sometimes do sports mass movements to improve their health status, now the people of Mashhad, along with their families should attend to announce their service to the holy realm of Imam Reza (A.S.)” he remarked, pointing to the love covenant of Mashhadi people at the end of Safar.
“Mashhadi people can thus complete a full exercise for their hearts and soul to be linked to the holy realm of Imam Reza (A.S.)” the Supreme Leader Representative in Khorasan Razavi enunciated.
It is worth mentioning that the neighbors of Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine, at 9 am on Friday November 17th, on the verge of the martyrdom of the Imam and in the form of “Pilgrimage Rendezvous” program, will walk to the Razavi Shrine.
