Farshchian's New Presented Work Was Unveiled in Astan Quds Razavi Museum.

In this ceremony which was participated by a group of officials of this great endowment center and also a group of art fans, a Qura'an engraved on 114 pieces of black granites was revealed. This work of art has been created by competent master Davood Zamani Azar, painter, sculptor, and poet from Tabriz. This ceremony had been arranged by the organization of libraries, museums, and document center of Astan Quds Razavi.
A very exquisite tableau of heaven on earth created by master Farshchian in  Persian miniature style and technique of acrylic was offered to the museum of Astan Quds Razavi in the current year. This work has been produced on an acid-free paper in the dimensions of 101.5 × 82 cm2 and in a period of 8 to 10 months in 1395/ 2016.
This tableau represents Ashura tragedy and farewell scene of Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.) with Imam Hossein's (A.S.) holy body in the site of martyrdom. The work also shows gloomy mourning of angels with Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.)
Each part of this work is a perfect work with itself and the golden point of which is Hazrat Zeinab (S.A.) confront with Imam Hoseein's (A.S.) body".
Seventeen exquisite works of this salient artist have ever been put into public display at specialized hall of Mahmoud Farshchian's works of art in Qur'an and exquisite museum of Astan Quds Razavi. Also, another work of art about his family is kept in the same hall. 
In addition to "Heaven on Earth (site of martyrdom)", four other tableaus of his including "Ashura Afternoon", "Flag-carrier of Right (Hazrat Abu al-Fazl (A.S.))", "Love Gift (Hazrat Ali Asghar (A.S.)", and "Passing Night in Darkness" have been presented to the museum of Imam Reza (A.S.) Holy Shrine and these work all suggest historical events of Tasua and Ashura.
 
Presented Exquisite Qur'an
Master Zamani Azar has engraved this Qura'n by embroidery needle on 114 pieces of Garnets. He has also used 180 grams of gold powder in a period of six years and four months (since December 2007 to April 2014) to adorn them. The work was presented to the museum in 1393/2014.
The biggest piece of this work belongs to Baghare Surah with seventeen centimeter diameter and the smallest part belongs to Nass Surah with four millimeter diameter.
Writings of each Surah have been engraved in a circular form around "In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate ". The order of Surahs is in accordance with the holy Qur'an and each of the 114 Surahs up to Nass has been engraved around a stone like Holy Kaaba engraved with Hamd Surah. In fact these Surahs are all circulating around this Kaaba -like stone.
Master Zamani Azar has started his artistic activity with self-learning and with no special training. He has started his work by painting on sack and because of his interest in creating noble works he has begun, after some years of this trend's prevalence, fine painting and sculpture.
This exquisite Qur'anic work of art is being kept at the Supreme Leader's gifts museums located in Astan Quds Razavi's museum of Qur'ans and exquisites.
It is worth mentioning that all lovers of Islamic-Iranian culture and art can visit various halls of Astan Quds Razavi's museum of Qur'an and exquisites in Kawthar Courtyard of the Razavi Shrine. This center is open from Saturday to Wednesday since 8 am to 12:30 pm, on Thursday from 8 am to 11:30 am, and on Friday and holidays from 8 am to 12am.
