The 5th International Congress of Ashura Ladies’ Poetry Closed.

The 5th Biennial congress of Ashura Ladies’ Poetry concluded in the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi with cooperation of Astan Quds Razavi Artistic Creations Institute.


The fifth biennial congress of Ashura Ladies’ Poetry came to end on Sunday night, October 29, with poem reading and celebrating the selected poets at Astan Quds Razavi Islamic Research Foundation auditorium. The congress was planned and organized by religious and cultural centers, including the ‘Foundation for Sacrifice and Endeavor Verses’, with contribution of Astan Quds Razavi Art Creation Institute, the Martyrs' and the Veterans Foundation of Khorasan Razavi, and the Center for Martyrs’ and the Veterans’ Families.
Supporter of Valuable Movements
 At the conference, Muhammad Ali Chamigu, director of the institute of Art Creation of Astan Quds, said, "In this artistic collection, the poetry and literature, specially the literature of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) has been taken into consideration by scholars and poets, so we declare our support from this great valuable movement.”
"We also have circles and poetry community of ritual poets in this collection and by launching the "Dabal Custom" circle, we will continually welcome and use their capacity and creativity alongside the youth”, he added.
Another Effect of Self-sacrifice
 Farahrouz Fatehi, head of the policy-making council at the Ashura Ladies’ Poetry Congress, noted that the fifth round of the event ended successfully by contribution of Astan Quds Razavi cultural and artistic custodians, and said, “The ‘Foundation for Sacrifice and Endeavor Verses’ as the main supporter of the congress initiated since the year 2003, with participation of a group of veterans’ families.”
 She added that the foundation currently has 3,000 members, which is run by Ladies’ themselves and is engaged in cultural activities in the fields of poetry, literature, and book publication.
Elaborating the cultural products of the Foundation, she continued, “Publishing 100 books, free producing and distributing 61 titles of small books called "Peik-e Eftekhar" (honor harbinger) with the circulation of three million volumes in scientific and cultural centers throughout the country, and publishing specialized poetry books are among the activities of this foundation.”
She also recounted holding of four festivals of "Kowthar" Film, organizing exhibitions and specialized meetings of distinguished self-sacrificing Ladies, and arranging a congregation for celebrating these activists, holding four congresses on the Ashura Ladies’ poetry, the Islamic Revolution and the Holy Defense, launching the site and the special SMS network of the Foundation and the Cultural Institute of the Quran and the Progeny as other activities of the ‘Foundation for Sacrifice and Endeavor Verses’.
First Iranian Muslim
Alireza Qazveh, chairman of the jury and director of the center for Literary Creations in the country's artistic domain, said, "The role of Ladies in different historical periods from the beginning of Islam and the event of Ashura to the Islamic Revolution and the Eighth years of the imposed war have been unique.”
 Referring to the first Iranian Muslim, he added, "Everyone is convinced that Salman the Persian is the first Iranian Muslim, while, according to documents such as the first volume of the book “ A’yan-al-Shi'a” written by Sayed Mohsen Amin Ameli, the first Iranian Muslim was an Esfahani Lady by whom Salman the Persian was guided toward Islam and the prophet.”
 Survival of History from the Path of Art and Poetry
Abedin Abedi Moqadam, head of the Khorasan Razavi Martyrs and Veterans’ Affairs Department, evaluated the congress worthwhile and said, "Tonight we pick the fifth fruit of this valuable literary movement. Throughout history, any event has been perpetuated with art and poetry.”
"Without this intermediary, the history may fail to transfer well. From the ignorance age, the poetry existed, but with the themes of woman and wealth and the like; But poetry after the advent of Islam became rich with devotion and sincerity notion, transferred by the artist's pen to the present age”, he added.
The families of Kheirabadi, Khalili, Zoriye Zahraei as well as the respected families of the martyrs of the shrine of Hazrat Zeinab (A.S.), the martyr Brigadier General Kajbaf from Shiraz and one of the families of the Holy Defense martyrs, the Commander Bronsi, were celebrated on behalf of the great veterans’ families where the managers of Astan Quds Razavi and some of the administrators of the provincial cultural institutions were present.
At the end of the ceremony, after uncovering of the Book “ Qatreh (the drop)”, the third book of poetry of Zainabiyeh (A.S.) poems by Naghmeh Mostashar Nezami, Fariba Yusefi from Tehran, Rahimeh Mehraban from Mashhad, Hamideh Rezaie and Fatemeh Soleymanpour from Qom, Elham Omumi from Isfahan, Ayub Parandavar From Jahrom, Ibrahim Qebleh Ariatan from Tabriz, and the foreign guests, Ahmed Jonaid from Yemen, Ahmed Shahriar from Pakistan, and Zahra Husseinzadeh from Afghanistan were honored with gifts.
