“Arbaeen Is the Strategic and Soft Power of the Muslim World”

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, at the ritual of accompaniment of Husseini servants and pilgrims, which was held at the Islamic Revolution Courtyard of Razavi Holy Shrine, called Arbaeen as a symbol for the survival of the reviving message of Ashura and stated, “The movement of Ashura speaks to the nature of human beings and defending the oppressed, morality, sacrifice and selflessness are messages of Ashura.”
“The salvation and the life of human morality depends on the protection of Ashura; the concepts created in the Ashura movement bring about the salvation of man in all ages and centuries” Member of the Expediency Council asserted.
Stating that Arbaeen is a tableau and a high flag before the contemporary human, so that the message of Ashura would not be lost he said, “The tear droplets of the lovers of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) for Imam Hussein (A.S.) are the soft power of Islam and the Islamic government.”
“Arbaeen is a strategic force and a soft power for Islam and Islamic movements in order to showcase this soft power to the world” Member of the Assembly of Experts noted.
Referring to the fact that the Arbaeen rally is a movement, in which the followers pursue the path due to devotion to the Infallible Imams (A.S.) he expressed, “Arbaeen rally is censored in the media of the hegemony, so that the strategic power of Islam not to be demonstrated”
Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi mentioned the Arbaeen rally as a huge show and a rich presence of Imam Hussein's devotees and said, “Arbaeen rally is the manifestation of the unity and solidarity of the Muslim nation, the tendency toward spirituality and piousness, fighting against the hegemony and enemies and persistence to reach the purpose.”
“The Holy Court of Imam Hussein (A.S.) is not only a gathering of angels, but also the earthly people, and Arbaeen is the formation manifestation of the Islamic nation and promises the emergence of the Imam Mahdi (A.S.) to realize the justice in the world” he reiterated.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, arguing that Arbaeen is a manifestation of a lasting and forward movement for the Islamic nation, stated, “Participation in this great procession, resembles passing through all the quantitative domains in the world, and joining a great deal of quality of love and devotion to spirituality.”
“It seems that in the name of Imam Hussein (A.S.) the world is supposed to change and the hearts to be conquered by this magnanimous Imam. The stations in Arbaeen are not exclusive to Muslims, but all monotheistic religions have presence in this rally” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi added.
He introduced Imam Hussein (A.S.), the manifestation of civilization in the world and said, “Arbaeen rally is not affiliated with any state or party, but belongs solely to the people.”
Member of the Assembly of Experts, pointing to the attacks of enemies to the subject of pilgrimage remarked, “Today, modern ignorance has attacked the life of contemporary human beings and this presence wipes ignorance from the human society.”
“Today, pilgrimage is very effective in educating the human population and this is why it is strongly attacked by the hegemony, and Arbaeen is for Ashura to flow in all layers of contemporary human life” he added.
He emphasized that the Islamic Revolution is one of the most important aspects of the Ashura movement and asserted, “Before the revolution, the Arbaeens caused evolution in any of the cities of this country until the Islamic Revolution was finally realized.”
“The walk of Arbaeen is the effect of devotion and love for the Infallible Imams (A.S.). All resistance and endurance in the world are learned from the Ashura of Imam Hussein (A.S.)” he enunciated.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, mentioned the presence of Razavi servants at Arbaeen’s service stations, leading to the transcendence of the spiritual passion of the rally and said, “Razavi servants will serve Husseini pilgrims on the Mehran border and the rally route of the Arbaeen and Samarra. God willing, all the efforts of the servants and the pilgrims will be safeguarded in the divine presence and will be rewarded by Imam Hussein (A.S.).”
