By Adding a Book in Ukrainian; Languages of Foreign Books Hall of Astan Quds Razavi's Central Library Reached to 92.

Announcing this news, responsible of foreign books hall of Astan Quds Razavi's organization of libraries, museums, and document center said, "Book of Avicenna's scientific services which has been published with 376 pages in Ukrainian language in 2009 was presented by Amir Reza Daneshmand Islami to the central library of Astan Quds Razavi".
Hamid Reza Montazer Abadi introduced foreign books hall as one of the best parts of the organization and added, "At the time being, over 115 thousand books in 92 languages (except Farsi and Arabic) are being kept in this section".
Noting that foreign books hall is 518 square meters big and it has both close and lending sections, he stated, "In addition to twenty thousand books in English, French, Urdu, the center has got one thousand and seven hundred of video and audio resources attached with books for both Iranian and non-Iranian researchers".
Referring to the existence of 74 translations of Holy Qura'n at this hall, Montazer Abadi said, "More than three thousand valuable and ancient books from 1900s and some other exquisite pictorial books are kept at the repository section of this hall". He also said, "A digital copy has been provided from all of them".
"The Gospel in Latin handwriting and language is the oldest book of the collection. The publication date of this work backs to 1473 (coincident with invention of printing industry", he continued.
Noting that books and resources of this section are supplied through organization's buying and people's presentations, responsible of foreign books hall of Astan Quds Razavi's central library stressed, "New English-language sources can be found in almost all subjects here and non-source books in subjects of humanities, Islam, Iran, and the Middle East are also available".
He reminded, "Foreign books hall is located in the ground floor of the central library of Astan Quds Razavi. It is in front of researchers' hall and offers its services on even days since 07:30 to 18:45. It is also open since 7:30 to 13:30 on Sundays and Tuesdays and since 07:30 to 12:30 on Thursdays ".
