Talking about this journal’s features, editor in chief of the Zāir monthly journal stated, “The institute has put publication of international monthly of Zāir into its agenda to elaborate practical and scientific conduct of Imam Reza (A.S.) and also to promote religious knowledge of the audience particularly Razavi pilgrims”.
Ali Hashemi stated, “In early years of publication, the journal was being published for all the public and it had a social-ethical approach. It received its permission for international publishing, addressing foreign pilgrims. Then, the Zāir was published in various languages of Arabic, English, and Urdu.
Referring to the various sections of this journal, he said, “Knowledge of the Gracious”, “Special Case of the Moon”, “Moon’s Face”, “Moon’s Glance”, “Sanctuary of the Gracious” “Shore”, and “Arabic Zāir” are some important sections of this journal”.
He referred to the “Special Case and Moon’s Face” and mentioned, “This case offers and elaborates various religious issues for the readers every month. These religious topics include pilgrimage, Islamic life style, an understanding like that of Imam Hussein (A.S.), Willayat Faqih, Hajj, and Khums. “Moon’s face” also introduces effective religious people such as salient authorities of imitations, authors, and researchers”.
“Some figures such as Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, Ayatollah Mazaheri, Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani, and noble clergywoman of Shia world Ms. Zohreh Sefati have been introduced within a special case. In addition to the interview with the main person, some other interviews have also been done with the person’s family and pupils”, he continued.
Noting to the recent issues of this monthly, he said, “In the last ten issues of the journal, great and illuminated character of the infallible Imams’ (A.S.) mothers has been dealt with and each issue has provided a description about virtues of one of these noble and faithful mothers”.
