By Razavi Holy Shrine; The Sixth Consignment of Wooden Supplies Will Be Sent to Hazrat Zahra’s(S.A.) Prayer Hall of Imam Ali(AS) Holy Shrine.

The Head of Astan Quds Razavi Wood Industries Co., announced the preparation of the sixth consignment of wooden supplies for Hazrat Zahra’s (S.A.) prayer hall, coincident with the wedding anniversary of this great lady with Imam Ali (A.S.).

Mohammad Jawad Tabasi, in an interview with Astan News said, “These doors belong to the interior of the prayer hall of Hazrat Zahra (S.A.), located in the Imam Ali’s (AS) Shrine.”
“In the sixth consignment, 160 frames, and 128 exquisite doors, painted in the art of the Girih tiles and the Alat tiles, from teak and beech woods will be sent, and the total of the frames including this cargo will be 511, and the number of doors and windows is 848” he stated.
“Teak wood is used for doors which connect inside and outside the environment, which are the best of available woods, resistant to pests and insects and have mechanical and flexural tensile strength” he said about the wood used in the sixth consignment.
“The temperature change of the city of Najaf during the day is about 20 ° C, and during the year it is 50 ° C, and the teak wood has been one of the best choices in this area due to its high resistance to humidity and environmental changes” Tabasi expressed.
“Beech wood is also used for some interior parts of the space, which is an industrial, high quality, elegant, colorful and uniform wood” he commented.
