Imam Hussain(AS) Holy Shrine runs a program to prepare women Quran reciters.

Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has run another campaign of the national program for Quran reciting and memorizing people; this campaign is to prepare a group of women Quran reciters in order to represent Iraq in international Quran ceremonies.

Amal El-Edani, program supervisor, said that 40 women were chosen out of 2500 ones from all over Iraq for this program.

El-Edani added that the program would run for a month in which the women would receive advanced techniques of memorizing the Noble Quran and reciting it.
