Professor Liakat Takim, in the meeting with the director of non-Iranian pilgrims affairs of Astan Quds Razavi stated, "There are good scientific and research centers in Astan Quds Razavi complex whose research results can be impressing on the public opinion of the world and on attitudes of people of the world towards Muslims.”
He noted that there are currently 500 Islamic centers in the United States, 200 of which are Shiite Islamic centers, and many Western people are interested to learn about the Islamic teachings and culture of the Household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.).
Head of the Canadian Religious Studies University viewed the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Astan Quds Razavi, as the main religious supports of the Shiites and Muslims in the world and said, "Many Muslim people in other countries regard Iran as their second homeland and are inclined towards the Shiite.”
He expressed satisfaction with the launch of the Imam Reza (A.S.) Satellite Network and reiterated, "Today, the world's media is at the disposal of the arrogant and the Zionism that manage the world's public opinion; therefore, the serious and extensive entrance of the Astan Quds Razavi complex into this area can have a great and positive impact.”
“Media activity and using virtual networks and new communication platforms should be the priorities of Muslim cultural activists”, said researcher and professor of Islamology at McMaster University in Canada.
The director of non-Iranian pilgrims affairs of Astan Quds Razavi also prospected that increasing the interactions and communications of Astan Quds Razavi with the world could further strengthen the position of Razavi Holy Shrine as the cultural pole of the Islamic world.
