The delegation met with the father - in Nasseriya City, Southern Iraq - who, during the visit, said, "I am so proud that I offered my son as a martyr for my country (Iraq) and for the sacrosanct."
He added that he has joind the Popular Mobilization Forces after his son's martyrdom, emphasizing that he will fight ISIS until Iraq is completely liberated.
Such a program has been set in compliance with the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority's directive to look after the families of the martyrs and the wounded by providing them with the necessities of life, granting them education, taking them on a pilgrimage to visit holy shrines, in addition to honoring them and rewarding them.
