Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 15th international festival of Imam Reza (A.S.) held in Mashhad’s Saba auditorium, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ibrahim Raeisi stated that human dignity is different from generosity. He also said, “Based on Islamic teachings, human dignity has two types of inherent and acquired. The inherent dignity is innate and exists in all humans and holy Qur’anic verse of 'We have honored the Children of Adam' (Q.17:70) endorses it”. The ceremony was participated by a group of active elites in the area of Razavi culture.
Member of the supreme council of Khorasan seminary added, “Generosity and being generous toward others is just one manifestation of dignity not the dignity itself. Real and pure dignity is achieved when human finds no one in himself but God and he commits his activities only for God”.
He asserted, “Human being becomes liberated in the shade of worshiping and servitude only. All supreme levels of humanity are attained in the shade of servitude as learnt from Imam Reza (A.S.)”.
Silsilat al-Zahab (Golden Chain) Tradition, Humans’ Immunity Way
In continuation of his speech, Astan Quds Razavi’s custodian referred to Silsilat al-Zahab tradition and introduced it as the immunity way of humans from misunderstandings and cultural invasions. He also stated, “This blessed tradition is a message and invitation for humanity to get into firm castle of God and household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) so that he can distinguish right path from the wrong one and can save himself from all deviations”.
Harboring to the conducts of infallible Imams (A.S.) was introduced by him as the only rescue way from evil temptations and deviations. He also stressed, “In fact, Silsilat al-Zahab tradition teaches humans how to live in all periods and centuries”.
He also said that Imam Reza’s (A.S.) illuminated Shrine shows path of happiness and his life and martyrdom are excellent guides for humans. Gran custodian of Astan Quds Razavi also asserted, “Razavi conduct can be employed, as a perfect criterion, for formation of all layers of life of today’s humans”.
Member of the supreme council of Khorasan seminary introduced following Imam Reza’s (A.S.) teachings as a prerequisite for creation of Islamic utopia and stated, “Oneness is the foundation of Islamic society and Islamic utopia is based on ethics, spirituality, and social justice; Razavi conduct is the best criterion for creating this Islamic utopia”.
Referring to the sentence of Imam Khomeini (R.A.) saying, “Astan Quds Razavi is the Center of the Country”, he said, “The philosophy of this sentence may exist behind this fact that all the country has to pay attention to this school of human creation and humanity”.
Islamic Iran; Flag Carrier of Human Dignity
Elsewhere in his remarks, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi mentioned that world arrogance in now tarnishing and attacking human dignity by oppressing Yemeni, Syrian, Palestinian, and Bahraini nations. He also stressed, “Dignity flag carrier in contemporary world is the Islamic Republic of Iran. This Islamic system is in favor of human dignity in all aspects of thought, reflection and spirituality.
He said, “Concurrent with Karamat Ten Days, we want to announce the world that let’s learn dignity in Hazrat Reza’s (A.S.) school”.
