Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi Stressed; “Research Should Be Tailored to the Needs of the Country and Solves People’s Problems.”

 Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, at the 10th International Festival of Razavi “Book of the Year”, held at the Astan Quds Razavi Research Foundation, emphasizing on the high position of the committed pen in the excellence of humans and the Islamic society expressed, “Whenever the cultured writers started to write something based on Islamic culture, and the teachings of the Infallible Imams (A.S.), valuable works which build humans and zealot have been created.”
He emphasized that research should be based on the needs of the country in order to unravel the people’s problems, and stated, “Research projects should be applied and in order to meet the needs of the country, it is required that scientists and researchers identify the necessities of the country, and based on which do the research and produce science.”
 “In order to answer the questions, we must first recognize the requirements, and then the scholars and thinkers should make endeavor to solve the problems” Board Member of the Assembly of Experts added.
 The Necessity for Interaction of Research Centers
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, while stressing that “jurisprudence of the tradition” is more important than the “tradition”, pointed to the importance of the interaction of research centers with each other and said, “The interaction of research institutions and centers is necessary for the growth of science and it helps the taken measures to be go beyond futile actions and be according to the requirements.”
“Scientific bodies need to be formed and scientific meetings should be held in relation to narratives, and an effective effort to provide practical solutions to solve the needs of the country. Researchers along with the revival of traditions that is a blessed act, must pay close attention to the needs of the day and the raised issues and seek the appropriate responses to the current questions” Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary stated.
Thinkers Club Must Be Founded in Mashhad
“Thinkers club in Mashhad, and in the vicinity of the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Holy Shrine must be established to use the capacity of intellectuals and elites, who travel to visit the city. Certainly, the output of such a club would be ‘production of science’ and ‘jurisprudence of the tradition’” he said, pointing out the great scientific potentials of Astan Quds Razavi.
“In the Mashhad seminary, more than 500 professors, and at universities, many well-educated scholars are ready to conduct topic-based researches to serve the Imam Reza (A.S.) Illuminated Court” he reiterated.
 Imam Reza (A.S.) Is the Harbinger of the Interfaith Dialogue
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, further expressing that Imam Reza (A.S.) is the harbinger of discourse between religions asserted, “Inspired by the teachings of the magnanimous Imam, we can turn Mashhad into the center of the discourse between religions.”
Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, saying that good measures have been taken in interfaith dialogue today, but it is not enough, commented, “Motivated by the Holy Being of Imam Reza (A.S.), the best dialogues between religions can be founded in Mashhad and I expect the Astan Quds Razavi establishment to enter this area actively.”
“Valuable treasury of Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi, should turn into a dynamic treasury, which is utilized for producing science and as a research resource. A library without research, is a place to keep the books. In this library, the latest scientific findings, especially using digital resources, should be available to academics and seminarians” he said and mentioned the Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi a great treasury of exquisite works.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, in conclusion, stating that contemporary human needs the teachings of Imam Reza (A.S.) stressed the importance of using modern methods for conveying the concepts and remarked, “We must reconsider the methods of conveying the concepts. Great concepts must be conveyed with rich literature. The glory of science adorned by manner can be the source of many blessings.
