Hujjat al-Islam Reza Daneshvar Thani said, “This chapter has 55 endowed properties including farm, aqueduct, garden, etc. that has been dedicated for meeting the needs of poor people.”
“The endowment of late Atiqi is one of the oldest endowments that has been endowed in 931 A.H./1524 AD”, he reiterated.
“He endowed 22 properties for different usages such as illumination and fuel, the banquet house and feeding the pilgrims, (Dar al-Shafa) and related hospital, servants, and Qur’an reciters”, he added.
“The revenue of the endowments is spent on the intended directions according to the endowment letter after the costs of the buildings of the properties and the custodian fees are subtracted”, Assistant of Legal Affairs and Endowments of Astan Quds Razavi explained.
“The endowment of the heirs of late Sayed Nooruddin al-Husseini Zarei is also the newest endowment in this domain endowed to Astan Quds Razavi in 2012”, he remarked.
“The endowment letter of late Sayed Nooruddin al-Husseini Zarei has stressed that the revenue of Muhammad Abad Farm in Fars province should be used for the needy people after the due costs are subtracted”, he said.
It is notable that the 14th chapter of Astan Quds Razavi endowment is designated to the needy and poor people.
