The al-Ameer Transmission Station of Imam Ali(AS) Holy Shrine achieves its final steps.

The Engineering Implementation Committee that belongs to Engineering and Technical Affairs Department of Imam Ali Holy Shrine had announced the arrival of the completion of the civil works of al-Ameer Transmission Station Project. Al-Ameer Transmission Station is hoped that the station will provide all the facilities of Imam Ali Holy Shrine with electric power.

The head of the Implementation Committee of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Mr. Ali Abdul Hussein Yusuf said, "The percentage of achievement in the civil works of al-Ameer Transmission Station to convert electricity is about 90%."

He added, "The staffs of the Ministry of Electricity started and directed and followed up by His Excellency the Secretary General, Mr. Nizar Habl Al-Mateen, to carry out the electrical and mechanical works through an engineering staff from the Ministry of Electricity and the supervision and follow-up of Engineering and Technical Affairs Department."

He also added, "Our staff shall start, through the Implementation Committee, the civil works to complete the line of towers feeding the station (132 KV)."
