It Will Be Held by Youth Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi; The Official Commencement of the 10th International “Under the Shade of Sun” Celebrations

Mojtaba Mokhtari, referring to the opening ceremony of the tenth anniversary of international and public celebrations of Under the Shade of Sun on Thursday said, “The inauguration, with the presence of Razavi youth network organizations across the country, servants, missionaries and other officials, who form the expedition caravans will be held.”
Pointing to the fact that this year more than 500 cities and villages in the country as well as 34 foreign countries, will host Under the Shade of Sun caravans, said, “The caravans include caravan officials from the cultural elite, missionaries from seminary and university professors, reciter servants, panegyrists and lecturers.”
“On the opening day, caravan officials with the managers of Astan Quds Razavi cultural organizations, such as the Dar al-Quran Karim, Quds Cultural Organization, Art Creation Institute, Behnashar publication etc., and also will hold symposia for better holding of Under the Shade of Sun celebrations” Managing Director of the Astan Quds Razavi Youth Organization said, referring to the sideline programs of the opening ceremony.
Mokhtari, highlighting that Under the Shade of Sun celebrations will be held from July 25th to August 4th, along with the Karamat ten Days Celebrations, said, “This year, Under the Shade of Sun caravans with 26 cultural programs will perform more than six thousand cultural operations domestically and abroad.”
“Under the Shade of Sun caravans are being sent to countries such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand, Kenya, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Europe, Turkey, Russia, Iraq, Lebanon, etc., and their members are prominent missionaries.
Mokhtari stating that propagating Imam Reza (A.S.) conduct and lifestyle and spreading the love of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) are amidst the main discourses of the caravans abroad added, “Along with all the overseas caravans, a prominent and international reciter servant will also be deployed, since Quran is the pillar of unity between the Islamic communities.”
He mentioned the strength of the overseas caravans this year, accompaniment of cultural activists with this international movement and argued, “Cultural activists in the field of documentation, documentary making, illustrating and photographing, would be deployed along overseas caravans, who will record the incredible moments and occasions of the event.”

Mokhtari stated the slogan of this year's caravans as “I follow you” and said, “The slogan is the core of the content of Under the Shade of Sun various programs such as visiting the oppressed, venerating and meeting with the families of the martyrs, presence in hospitals, orphans centers, prisons, and meeting with representatives of the Supreme Leader and government officials, entrepreneurs, farmers, young couples and so on.”
He introduced the aim of holding international and public celebrations of Under the Shade of Sun as promoting the religious life style based on the pure teachings in the conduct of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) and especially Imam Reza (A.S.) using the capacities of Astan Quds Razavi in support of public movements.
“In the meeting, senior officials of the departments and governmental and non-governmental organizations of the country such as the Organization of Endowments, Interior Ministry, Ministry of Health, National Broadcasting, IRGC cultural establishment and the secretariats of the mosque centers have been invited for cooperation in order to best perform cultural programs in the Karamat ten Days Celebrations” the Managing Director of the Astan Quds Razavi Youth Organization added, announcing the holding of national staff meeting of Under the Shade of Sun on Thursday.
