This came during his sponsorship of the joint meeting, which brought together representatives of the federal government represented by the head of the advisory body of Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Karim al-Faisal, officials of the local government represented by the Governor of Najaf Province, Mr. Louay al-Yasiri and directors of the department municipality, municipal, health, education, sanitation, water and electricity.
Mr. Hable Al-Mateen started the consultation meeting by reading Holy Quran and then a moral lecture in which he urged cooperation, righteousness, charity and devotion to serve the citizens according to the approach of the Holy Prophet (Peace be Upon him) and Ahl Al-Bayt (Peace be upon them).
Then His Eminence gave a brief explanation of the projects of Imam Ali Holy Shrine and the continuous preparation of proactive plans and avoids the mistakes that have been made in the past to develop those plans to serve visitors.
For his part, Dr. Al-Faisal expressed his deep appreciation for the Secretary General for sponsoring the meeting, stressing in a speech to officials that they were fortunate that the Shrine of the Commander of the Faithful and the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine contribute to the provision of services to citizens and improve the service of the city of Najaf.
Mr. Nizar said in a statement to the media center of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, "The sponsorship of Imam Ali Holy Shrine for the meetings of officials in the federal and local government is not the first time and will not be the last. We gathered at the meeting the representative of the Prime Minister and Governor of Najaf and the official of Najaf governmental departments to discuss providing the best services to this holy city. We have laid down the basic lines of work on this basis. We hope that there will be future meetings to put the appropriate touches on the advancement of the services provided in the field of municipalities, Health, education and various other services of the holy city. There will be an ongoing weekly meetings with the officials to make the holy city of Najaf the best Iraqi cities for their services to visitors.
For his part, the governor of Najaf, Mr. Luay al-Yasiri, presented a summary of the most prominent problems and obstacles experienced by the province, especially in the sectors of health and education, as well as the electricity sector and services.
Al-Yasiri appreciated the efforts exerted by Imam Ali Holy Shrine in supporting the local government in Najaf and its service departments throughout the province.
