The two sides discussed the situation and problems in the process of equipping the city of Najaf with national electric power, and the role of Imam Ali Holy Shrine in supplying the Ministry of Electricity with developmental projects to help the city of Najaf.
Mr. Raad Mashkour said, "We were on an inspection tour of our general directorates in the Middle Euphrates, and then we went to visit the holy city of Najaf and get acquainted with the work of the distribution and transport departments. We had a precious opportunity to visit the shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and then a meeting with the Secretary General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine."
He added: "We conveyed to His Eminence the greetings of the Minister of Electricity, stressing the ministry's constant readiness to serve the holy shrine. We also listened to valuable advice and guidance from His Excellency the Secretary General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine. We shall convey it to the Minister and the Ministry."
