Secretary General of the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union: Route of Information Transfer Changed to the Benefit of Islamic Countries

Secretary General of the Islamic radios and televisions union stated, “Today, the route of information transfer has changed to the benefit of the Islamic countries and a two-way communication has been established”

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 9th Summit of Islamic Radios and Televisions, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Ali Karimian, secretary general of Islamic radio and televisions union, stated, “Opening the 7th Islamic film market with the motto of “Pure Production, Pure Media, and Pure Generation” is a valuable opportunity for offering media productions of those who are concerned about cultural and ethical issues and this is a great capability”.
He said, “As the route of information transfer, new, analysis, and interpretation was totally one-way during recent years, we were only listeners in the region and the Islamic world. We can say, however, that we are not listeners any more but speakers for others”.
“There were no good satellite channels in the past, so families were always concerned about watching these channels. At the moment, there are tens and even hundreds of satellite channels with which families have no concern. This is a very great service to the Islamic world and humanity. Creation of this enormous epic has been done by these Muslim people only. This success must be congratulated to all”, Hujjat al-Islam Karimian added.
Appreciating officials of Astan Quds Razavi and also Razavi Khorasan province, secretary general of the Islamic radios and televisions union stated, “Hope this summit can turn into an opportunity to introduce precious capabilities of the city in general and Astan Quds Razavi in particular and it can meet the needs of all knowledge seekers of the world”.
He added, “We are proud to host and commemorate a number of families of media martyrs and veteran journalists who were martyred over the past year in the Iraqi, Syria, and Yemeni squares”.
