Hujjat al-Islam Ali Karimian, general secretary of Islamic Radio and Television Union, Ali Askari, head of Broadcasting Organization, Morteza Bakhtiari, Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, and a number of provincial officials attended in the closing ceremony of the 9th summit of Islamic Radio and Television Union.
Supported by Astan Quds Razavi, the satellite channel was set at the ‘Nilesat’ satellite on occasion of unity and solidarity of Islamic media.
Imam Reza (A.S.) Satellite Channel started operation tentatively from 2016 March by live broadcasting of programs of the Razavi Holy Shrine.
Imam Reza (A.S.) Satellite Channel reflects the presence of devoted pilgrims from across the world and broadcasts attracting visual clips and religious programs concerning the personality, generosity, and position of Imam Reza (A.S.).
The channel covers the Middle East countries as well as the north of Africa in the Arabic, Persian, and English languages. Besides Iran, Muslims and Shi’ites from all around the world especially the oppressed Shi’ites of Bahrain, Lebanon, Iraq, and other Muslim countries will be audiences of Imam Reza (A.S.) Satellite Channel.
