General Commander Ghasemi: Hezbollah Military Unit, an Initiative of Ahmad Motavaselian

One of the general commanders of holy defense said, “Lebanon’s Hezbollah group was an initiative of Ahmad Motavaselian. This group was later developed by individuals like Seyyed Hasan Nasrallah and Imad Mughniyah”.

lecturing at the special program of “Jailed Lions in Israel”, general commander Saeed Ghasemi stressed, “If Ahmad Motavaselian now enters the country after 35 years, one should be very brave to stand against him. He was very serious in his acts and very adherent to Imam Khomeini’s (R.A.) ideals”. This program was held with impressive presence of the youth in auditorium hall of Astan Quds Razavi’s Islamic Researches Foundation.
He continued, “In the war of Lebanon, only one battalion had come from Arab countries and as a result of their incompetency, this only group left the place soon. This was Ahmad Motavaselian and other Iranians who trained soldiers and commanders of the war”.
Referring to the war in Syria, Ghasemi said, “Current war in Syria is not an ordinary war with ISIS, but it is a war of modern military tactics and techniques. Iran entered this war very professionally and intelligently”.
“Over the past few years, neither politicians nor military officials have taken any serious action to release these diplomats”, he went on.
He added, “Some documentary programs on Ahmad Motavaselian are slightly distorted; therefore, more professional and realistic works have to be produced in this area”.
