“Astan Quds Razavi has a peerless capacity for producing prominent media products”, director and founder of American Wilayat Channel said.


Sayed Zir al-Hassan Naqavi on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the 9th leaders’ summit of general assembly of Islamic Radio and Television Union in Mashhad, pointed to the goals of the summit and remarked, “Holding such assemblies may lead to detecting the strong and weak points of Islamic media besides the possibility of exchange of opinions, information, and technology.”
Stating that this year Mashhad was recognized as the cultural capital of the Islamic world, he said, “Iran is one of the safest, and the most influential countries in the region and is able to make use of this opportunity for propagation of the knowledge of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) and creating unity among the Muslim countries.”
Noting that today the European and American countries are using the media mostly toward political, economic, and cultural aims, director of American Wilayat Channel said, “The Muslim societies also need to make use of media tools more than before to attain their Islamic goals.”
Noting that Wilayat Channel is operating in the US, he said, “The Shi’ites are eager of the knowledge of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) in the western and especially in the American countries and we should fed spiritually the Muslims in the Europe besides uniting the Islamic channels.”
“Razavi Holy Shrine is recognized as one of the main bases of Islamic culture in the world. Fortunately, this holy place has carried out valuable activities in the media domain in recent years”, he remarked.
It is notable that the 9th summit of general assembly of Islamic Radio and Television Union opened in Mashhad on July 1st with presence of 600 domestic and foreign guests and engagement of 230 channels from 36 countries. The summit will continue until July 4th.
