Advisor to the Supreme Leader in International Affairs: “The Seventh Islamic Film Market Is the Extension of Ghadir’s Movement”

At the inauguration ceremony of the 7th Islamic Film Market, Ali Akbar Velayati said, “Unlike some of the negligent people who attribute the origins of Shiism to the very recent ages, I must say that the root of Shiism in Iran is the entire history.”
He introduced one of the blessings of Imam Reza's visit to Iran as organizing the devotees of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.), and reception of twelve-Imam Shiism instead of defective and deviant ones by people and stated, “Two thousand to three thousand of the Alawites came to Khorasan with Imam Reza's travel, and established twelve-Imam Shiism in Iran.”
“Islamic media are far superior in comparison with western media, including Hollywood, which takes money from Israel for their expenses, because our reporters and directors make efforts based on the faith” Velayati asserted”.
Advisor to the Supreme Leader in International Affairs, saying that Imam Ali (A.S.) is the manifestation of the correct Islamic promotion, said, “Enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, is the same manifestation and propagation of the path of God, and fortunately, with the advancement of media facilities, the promotional work has gotten easier.”
“Shi’ite and Sunni should cooperate to promote Islam, and the benefits of this issue is Shi’ite and Sunni unity. All Muslims today must take this opportunity to improve the current situation in the region” he added, stating that the key to Islam’s triumph is unity between Shi’ite and Sunni.
“ISIS root is the Ba'athis of Iraq, and through alliance they are struggling to avenge the overthrow of Saddam Hussein” Velayati expressed.
Advisor to the Supreme Leader in International Affairs, pointing out that today the path of resistance begins from Tehran and encompasses Mossul, Damascus and Beirut, said, “The Americans' plot in the region has never come to fruition, and God willing stays that way.”
“The existence of Trump has led to America’s isolation, and he promotes the disunion of the European Union. They should know that gradually, the isolation of America in the world, whether in the West, or amidst members of the Security Council and Muslims will be increased, and Muslims are not afraid of Trump’s hollow threats” he said, stating that Trump should know that the people of this region do not go under the burden of a weakened US appointed government.
“The Americans thought they could place a vice reign in Iraq; however, the Iraqi people kicked them out with zealotry, and they would not succeed in Yemen and Syria, and the future belongs to the Islamic world in the shade of unity and avoiding schism” Velayati reiterated.
“The Muslims have the potential, talent and geopolitical position. The resistance chain has started from Tehran, and it has reached Deir ez-Zor, Raqqah, Damascus, Beirut and to the Mediterranean, which is very sensitive. The resistance chain is getting stronger every day, and all countries are supporting the Palestinians” he asserted.
