Astan Quds Razavi’s Custodian: Weakening Defense Capability of the Country by any Form is a Big Mistake.

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ibrahim Raeisi, in a meeting with members of parliament national security commission, introduced blessing of security as one of the greatest blessings of the country and reminded, “In spite of permanent threats and presence of enemies around the country, Islamic Iran now enjoys a very sustainable security; otherwise, enemies will attack the country in no time”. He also said, “If we see their withdraw at the moment it’s not because they do not want to attack us but it’s because they do not have the ability to attack”. This meeting was held earlier today at Razavi Shrine’s Willayat hall.
Member of the supreme council of Khorasan seminary introduced faithful and ready people of Iran as one of the main components of power for the country and reiterated, “The more effort and strive people can see in their officials, the more trust they will get in the efficiency of the Islamic system and this issue is directly connected to our national security”.
Noting that public trust is the back of the Islamic Revolution, he added, “Public trust is one of the fundamental pillars of the national security and backing of the Islamic Republic. This is Islamic Republic’s big trust, asset, and backing and it is the duty of all to preserve it”.
Iran’s Military Capability is Defensive
Emphasizing on the necessity of boosting military and missile capabilities, member of the supreme council of Khorasan seminary continued and stressed, “Defense and missile capability of Iran is not for fighting, but it is for preventing from fight. Thanks to the great efforts of defense area’s unknown forces, Iran now enjoys a very good security and deterrence”.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi added, “Iran has got a sustainable security in the hard security situation of the region and this blessing has obtained in the shade of   endeavor spirit and defense capability. Some western countries’ lame excuses on the missile program of the country suggest their hostile polities toward Iranian nation”. 
He found security as a major component for growth and advancement of the country and referred to this fact that holy system of Islam has been formed on justice-based interaction and friendship with rest of the world. He also stated, “We have intention of war with no country. We will not, like Imam Hossein (A.S.), start any war because Islam’s nature is peace, generosity, and friendship. If any attack happens, we will defend powerfully, however.
Weakening Defense Capability, Right of No One
Emphasizing that no one has the right to weaken defense capability, Astan Quds Razavi’s Custodian stated, “Attacking and colonializing poor countries by the arrogant powers is a reality. Their sovereignty and territorial integrity are violated and their political and economic independence are ruined”.
Referring to some evil comments of Saudi Arabia’s authorities, he said, “Today’s Shouts of officials of Saudi Arabia originate from their inability. They are not able to confront a powerful Iran. If they could, they had attacked Iran. What happened to Yemen? It has been changed into a completely destroyed country but it is not been left alone and it is still being bombarded”.
Saying that protecting, preserving, and striving for promoting security, authority, and defense power of the country is a must for all citizens particularly officials, member of the assembly of experts reminded, “Every word and action to weaken defense and missile capability of the country is a big mistake. Many cultural and economic documents such as 2030 and FATF are related to our national security and attending to security adjuncts are of paramount importance”.
 
Holy Shrines’ Defenders, Guards of National Security
Member of the supreme council of Khorasan seminary introduced endeavors of young defenders of Holy Shrines as one of the reasons for country’s security and said, “Shrine’s defenders are protectors of both Allah’s family and country’s national security. If they had not had their sacrifices, we would not have had today’s security. The spirit of endeavor and position of these veterans have to be commemorated. All words, writings, and actions which weaken them jeopardize national security.
Recognizing enemies’ threats and constant observing of them were described by him as necessary things for country’s security. He also said, “Examining current issues of the world and maintaining defense readiness against the enemies’ threats is an obligation. Today, some ignorant groups have begun, enjoying full support of the USA, a proxy war in our region”.
At the end of his speech, Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi reminded crimes and terrors committed by the hypocritical group (MKO) and said, “When the country was involved in the imposed war, this group tried to jeopardize country’s security. They killed over 17 thousand innocent people of Iran including  president and prime minister. There is no doubt that Imam Khomeini (R.A.) is the national champion of this country in fighting against terrorism since he recognized well and did right and if this did not happen, terrorism would not leave the country”.
It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of this meeting, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of parliament’s national security commission, offered a report on the activities of this commission and also referred to the recent sanctions of the US congress. Boroujerdi also introduced the act as sign for deep hatred and hostility of the US authorities toward the Iranian people.
