An Iraqi delegation from the Sunni Endowment visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH).

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, a delegation of Sunni Scholars from the Sunni Endowment had visited the shrine of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) and Supreme Religious Authorities in Najaf. The delegation included a number of Sheikhs and preachers of Baghdad province, headed by Dr. Mohammad Taha al-Dulaimi.


The head of the delegation, Dr. Mohammad Taha al-Dulaimi said, "On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, we had the honor to visit of the symbol of human justice Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) and the visit of religious scholars in Najaf.  The visit was to unify the lines against terrorism and discuss ways of cooperation between the doctrines of Muslims and bring the views closer."

Al-Dulaimi stressed the importance of the fatwa of the Supreme Religious Authorities in Najaf in the holy jihad, which played a key role in preserving the land and the holy sites. He praised the role of Supreme Religious Authorities in Najaf in unifying the sects and rejecting the sectarian division that the terrorist is urging to spread among the people.
