The President of Kirkuk University and his accompanying delegation visited the shrine of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib(PBUH).

The President of Kirkuk University, Dr. Abbas Hassan Taqi and his accompanying delegation visit the shrine of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) and performed the ritual visit. The president had confirmed that Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is a symbol of national unity.

The university president said, "Imam Ali Holy Shrine continues its support to the Kirkuk University providing it with the holy studies and magazines, which are distributed to students of university faculties."

He added, "The University of Kirkuk received more than twenty thousand displaced from the University of Mosul and Anbar. Kirkuk University is distributing the issues of Imam Ali Holy Shrine to all the students of colleges belonging to the University of Kirkuk."
