“Our Eyes, Wonder” exhibition is a collection of this artist’s photos in two parts of life story and mourning of Arbaeen route. The first part offers life story of ten servants of Imam Hussein’s (A.S.) Arbaeen in Iraq. These servants and their families have come to Mashhad concurrent with holding of this ceremony.
Photos of mourning ceremonies of Arbaeen route from Basra to Karbala is the other part of this exhibition. The opening ceremony of this exhibition was attended by Iraq’s biggest mourning group from Samawah.
In this ceremony which was held with the support of Astan Quds Razavi’s general of office of public relations and media, Muhammad Amin Tavakoli Zadeh, the director general of the office, said, “Our Eyes, Wonder” is a valuable artistic endeavor to convey great concepts observed in the rally of Arbaeen. Arbaeen ceremony is not a domestic gathering anymore. It has turned into a transnational ceremony and a place for gathering all lovers of Imam Hussein (A.S.). Four-year strive of Mojtaba Heidari, a photographer, has been put into display in this exhibition which represents lots of recorded moments of Arbaeen rally from workers to teachers and from rich to poor, Muslim and Christian who all can play their roles to reach freedom and justice. He also said, “A very rich culture is behind these scenes and Arbaeen has got lost of lessons which can be stopped by no one. God willing, the same ceremony will pave the way for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (A.S.)”.Tavakoli Zadeh were talking for Iraq popular figures and Razavi pilgrims.
Appreciating this artist, Tavakoli Zade continued and said, “There is no border between Iranians and Iraqis in terms of culture and they are all in favor of justice and freedom”.
Refereeing to the place of culture and media, he added, “We try to have a right look at these arts. We also strive to change our artists into cultural ambassadors”. He also said, “Arbaeen’s greatness can be effective only through art”.
Iraq’s biggest mourning group had its program in continuation of this gathering. Also a rug depicting Bein al-Haramein design was unveiled by two mothers of Shrine’s martyrs.
At the end of the ceremony, all supporters and those involved in holding of this exhibition were appreciated by offering certificate of appreciation and the ceremony was ended by participants’ visitation from the exhibition.
It is worth mentioning that exhibition of “Our Eyes, Wonder” which has been, thanks to the endeavor of artists and masters, arranged in a narrative form at Bab al-Javad entrance of the Razavi Shrine is open to the devotes of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) during Ramadan except Qadr nights.
