Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi: “Management Prerequisite in the Muslim Community Demands Broadmindedness and Tolerance”

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, in a series of meetings to interpret the holy Quran, which are held coincided with the holy month of Ramadan in the Maqsureh portico of Goharshad Mosque, emphasizing the necessity for managers and officials of Islamic community to have broadmindedness, said, “One of the most important moral qualities, to which the officials and managers in the Muslim community should be adorned, is broadmindedness. Tolerance leads to prudence and practicality of officials and managers and if an official lacks these characteristics, would not be able to cope with many problems and shortcomings.”
Member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary of Khorasan, stressing that management prerequisite in Islamic community demands broadmindedness and tolerance, said, “An Islamic leader should know that responsibility brings various ups and downs, and to achieve goals they will have to face many difficulties, and if they lack patience, tolerance and broadmindedness, the society will pay the price.”
“Broadmindedness, is extent and breadth of view, so that human to be in charge of a potential to deal with problems in hardships, and to be grateful for their blessings, and not to leave the field of devotion to God in life’s vicissitudes” he asserted, highlighting the first verse of Surah Sharh, wherein God says, “Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad)”.
“Broadmindedness” Takes Shape in the Light Of Obedience to God
“According to verses of the holy Quran, Almighty God has bestowed the position to the Prophet (S.A.W.) and it shows that there is no higher rank then broadmindedness for human, or certainly the God had given it to his Messenger” Board member of the Assembly of Experts stated, mentioning the “broadmindedness” as the highest position for humankind.
 
“Broadmindedness is one of the most important management means in society, and unless in the light of devotion to Almighty God and taking advantage of the teachings of the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.) could not be achieved” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi expressed.
“The courage that enabled Imam Khomeini (R.A.) to outcry ‘America is helpless’, and the Supreme Leader to authoritatively address ‘Mina’ incident and terrify Saudi Arabia and change the trend, is a strength and courage that in the light of resorting to God, and pursuit of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) has been formed, and it is the manifestation of Islamic capacity-building” he commented, introducing the way to establish broadmindedness and building capacity as to serve the God Almighty.
The Best Hearts Are the Hearts with the Most Capacity
Narrating a tradition by Imam Ali (A.S.), upon which the Imam addressed Komail bin Ziad ‘Hearts are like containers, so best of them are the most capacious’, he reminded “The capacity can be formed in the light of devotion to God and appeal to the household of the Apostle of God (S.A.W.), and one of the best opportunities to increase the capacity of the hearts is the holy month of Ramadan”.
Member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary of Khorasan, explained the role of pilgrimage in promoting religious beliefs and capacity building in human and said, “The pilgrimage of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) Illuminated Graves, is one of the objective manifestations of maintaining relationship with them and capacity building in humans.”
Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, stressed the importance of pilgrimage in human excellence and stated, “Pilgrimage of the Infallible Imams (A.S.) is one of the most important ways of immunizing humans against the devil temptations and capacity enhancement.”
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, in the end, explaining the attacks to the subject of pilgrimage, said, “The high capacity of pilgrimage, and enemy-breaking gathering that is formed around it, is one of the most important reasons for attacks against the pilgrimage.”
