Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi: “Protection of Human Dignity, a Strategic Principle in Islam”

Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, last night during a meeting with a group of workers and street sweepers of Mashhad Samen area, congratulated the commencement of holy month of Ramadan, the month of divine feast and the month of Quran descension, and recounted this month as the time to divine proximity and an opportunity for self-improvement, self-purification and building capacity in human.
Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary, stating that Ramadan is the great feast of God, in which the host is God and the guests are devoted Muslims said, “Ramadan, is a month to exclude ignorance and a precious opportunity for servants in order to earn God's blessings.”
“Many world disasters, crimes, injustices, lootings, lies, accusations, frauds and unrighteous earnings, are due to forgetting the God” he said, mentioning Ramadan as an opportunity to remember the God.
Board member of the Assembly of Experts, called calmness,  of the greatest divine blessings and said, “Wealth would not bring peace for human, Saudi Arabia perhaps is one of the richest countries in the region; however, the lack of peace and concerns of the country’s rulers has always made them spend heavily on weapons.”
“Sometimes, the calmness of a worker and farmer, who is adequately provided, is much more than a rich person” Grand Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi stated.
“Anyone, who works in the community, ranging from those accountable, the Ministers, employers, managers, employees, etc., in general standpoint are workers, and in fact they produce value” he expressed, stressing that according to Islam, idleness and laziness are anti-value.
Pointing to the importance of preserving the dignity of humans, he mentioned breaking the dignity of others a sin and said, “No one has the right to strip someone of dignity or degrade others, maintain the honor and dignity is obligatory, because God created man as his highest creature and has bestowed him self-esteem.”
“According to Islam, human dignity is a strategic principle, and it is considered a macro policy, and it demands the human dignity of each individual to be observed with sensitivity” Member of the Supreme Council of Khorasan Seminary remarked.
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Raeisi, stating that achieving righteous earnings is a sacred effort, reminded, “Efforts to achieve family’s welfare, is in rows of jihad for the sake of God, someone, who make endeavor to handle their family, is as such the one on the path of God.
At the end of the meeting, the guests broke their fast at Razavi’s munificent banquet in the vicinity of Imam Reza (A.S.) Holy Grave.
