Najaf Governor Al Yasiri said: "We are grateful to the brothers from al-Kawthar Company, who are involved in the project of Fatima for their sincere efforts to accomplish this great project. We have witnessed remarkable progress in high technology and workmanship. It is one of the largest urban projects in the Middle East. It is important to complete the project that we are coming on million visits as Arba'een Visit. If this place is completed, it will solve many problems to accommodate visitors from Iran and other countries.
He added, "Imam Ali Holy Shrine is a basic partner and an important partner for the development of the province and there is a high level coordination."
For his part, the director of the Office of the Secretary General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Montazer al-Araji said, "Our tour with the governor of Najaf, Mr. Lu'ay al-Yasiri is to see the projects Imam Ali Holy Shrine, which was carried out during the past year. The projects include Sahan (Courtyard) Fatima Project, which is the largest in Iraq and the holy shrines in Iraq and outside. Also, we had viewed firsthand the progress of work in the Electric Transmission Station, which raised the loads of the old city."
He added, "The governor expressed his respect and appreciation for the administration of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, represented by the Secretary General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine Sayyed Nizar Hashim Habl al-Mateen and the specialized brothers working in the administration of Imam Ali Holy Shrine for their great service to City of Najaf and the city the Commander of the (Faithful peace be upon him)."
