Professor of the American University of Beirut; “Museums of Astan Quds Razavi Are Excellent Places to Attract Foreign Tourists”

“Museums of Astan Quds Razavi are excellent places to attract foreign tourists” the Professor of the American University of Beirut said.


Mehran Madani, who has had a trip to Iran to participate in the first International Conference on “Urban Planning and Management-Mashhad 2017”, on the sidelines of the visit to the museums of Astan Quds Razavi said, “Museums of the Holy Shrine, indicate the pure art and culture of Iran.”
“I was born and raised in Isfahan, and I traveled to America for several years to study and teach. While in Iran, I had never had the opportunity to come to Mashhad, and I am very happy that today for the first time I came to this holy city and spiritual place” he said, stating that it is the first time he came to Mashhad and attended the Imam Reza (A.S.) Holy Shrine.
“The museum is located in the historic and beautiful bathroom, in which the old objects are displayed the best way possible” Madani said On the sidelines of a visit to the Museum of Anthropology.
Professor of the American University of Beirut, pointed to the attractiveness of the Quran Museum and said, “I was shocked and surprised to see the manuscripts, especially the Qurans attributed to the Infallible Imams (A.S.) in the museum.”
“I am glad that the staff of the Holy Shrine, with the best equipment and facilities in the world, preserve and protect this valuable treasure” he commented, expressing that the museum is the second manuscript Quran Museum in Iran.
“Construction of underpasses, parking, and easy access of pilgrims to various streets shows that urban and traffic designs applied around the Razavi Holy Shrine have been observed and managed the best way possible” Madani uttered, noting the urbanization principles around the Razavi Holy Shrine.
It should be noted, visiting the central, Quran and carpets museums, happened on the sidelines of the trip of twelve urban construction professors from Iraq, Beirut, Istanbul, Pakistan, Portugal, and Bangladesh to Mashhad to participate in the International Conference “Urban Planning and Management-Mashhad 2017” and during the initiation to the Razavi Holy Shrine.
