The Secretary General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine, Sayyed Nizar Hashim Habl al-Mateen said, "Imam Ali established this institute as a respond to commandments of the Shiite Muslim Supreme Religious Authorities to study the three books, Holy Quran, Nahjul Balajah and Sahifa Al-Sajjadia."
He added, ""The Institute has two main objectives: to gather the Quranic abilities that are spread throughout our country and to gather them in the religious seasons in order to increase Quranic education and work according to Holy Quran."
For his part, the head of Religious Affairs Department, Sheikh Mustafa Abu al-Tabuk said that "The Institute studies Holy Quran, Nahjul Balajah and Sahifa Al-Sajjadia for the students of Hawza."
He added, "The Institute prepares a group of Quranic and specialists in Holy Quran, Nahjul Balajah and Sahifa Al-Sajjadia. The study will be for two years to. The graduated students will serve the community in mosques and Husayniyat to build a strong promising generation that can face the pitfalls and problems and build a generation of love and familiarity."
He added, "We are working hard to have the formal approval from Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to be a formal institute."
