This statement came during his visit to the holy shrine, meeting with a number of its officials, and he was briefed about a number of the shrine's projects, including the expansion, roofing, communication system and surveillance cameras, and he ended his tour by visiting the Al-Kafeel Museum of treasures and manuscripts.
Al-Kafeel Network has met with the Brazilian ambassador who said: "This is my first visit to the holy city of Karbala after my nomination as ambassador in the republic of Iraq, and it is a pleasure to be in this ancient city which has great religious sanctity and which is a destination for millions of visitors from around the world each year. We had a tour in the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in which we were briefed about the expansion and roofing project as well as the communication and surveillance cameras system, which we have found very creative and a source of pride especially that these projects are implemented by Iraqis, and this gives us a excellent impression about this city and its holy shrines, unlike the image given by some of the media."
Indicating: "During this visit we have put forward a number of issues, especially with regard to the economic reality and ways of future cooperation between each other. As for the Al-Kafeel Museum of treasures and manuscripts, we were amazed by its rare holdings that date back to different eras. We were also impressed by its well organization and the modern way of the presentation of these collectibles that match the display methods in most international museums. So, all the thanks and appreciation to those in charge of the holy shrine and its project for the warm reception and hospitality."
