The head of Women Affairs' Department, Manal Hussein said, "The conferees agreed on the need to find new programs to focus on memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran and learning its sciences through the establishment of ongoing courses and competitions in mosques and Shiite mosques. The aim of this competition is to choose the representatives of Iraq in international competitions and the winner will qualify for the International Quranic competition, which will be held in Tehran next month of Rajab."
She added, "Also, we had a meeting with Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the meeting, Dr. Rafie al-Amiri, as has been agreed on joint cooperation for the success of this Quranic project."
