The project aims to broadcast all events at the holy shrine, such as: congregational prayers, worship acts, festivals, conferences, condolences' rituals and others. The broadcast will be done with the latest technology, high-precision quality, very sophisticated equipment and high potential.

Among the objectives of this project is to provide many satellite channel that are looking for hours of broadcast and have no staff to send to cover the activities of the holy shrine. The project goal is to give the frequency of the holy shrine to broadcast all events without they send their staff and bearing their responsibilities in terms of housing, transportation and securing an accompanying person for them. And most importantly is to give the image that fit with the policy of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine without any kind of bias.

It was equipped with all the necessary devices needed for such project from international origin, starting from the cameras to the other technical devices, most importantly the SNG system."

As for Mr. Basheer Al-Tajer, the head of the Imaging and Montage Division, the supervising and managing body of this project, has stated: "The project includes eleven fixed cameras scattered inside and outside the holy sanctuary in addition to mounted cameras, as well as five mobile cameras controlled centrally in the remote control room, in addition to imaging mixer, servers system, and SNG device for satellite broadcast. A special frequency will be determined to enable the live broadcast to all satellite channels wishing to receive the live from the holy sanctuary of Al-Abas (peace be upon him), so that the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) can watch the spiritual atmosphere from this holy place for the first time."
