This was the statement of the Institute's director; Sheikh Hussein Al-Turabi, who added: "The origin of the idea is due to increasing demands for studies in Najaf from outside Iraq, and because we cannot accept all of them, we have crated this E-Hawza as an alternative for coming here."
He explained: "This alternative is mostly created taking into account that most of the applications were from women who have converted to the path of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), which makes it difficult for them to travel and live in Najaf in Iraq."
Sheikh Al-Turabi has statd abou the system of the new electronic Hawza: "There is an internal system of the Institute that is indicated in its offcial website, allowing the students to study in it from inside and outside Iraq. There is also a possibility to study in the institute for the students who want to study actually in it from the Hawza students, and the first phase from the Muqaddimat is currently available in the number of the teachers of the Hawza."
Sheikh al-Turabi continues: "The institute publishes the Hawza lesson in Najaf by technology and modern techniques as the lessons are broadcasted either by video or by text with the possibility of discussing each lesson between the students and the teachers. The institute provides for its students a new way to perform the exam through electronic exams, making it easy for the student wherever and at any time to participated in the announced exams. The student can also follow his results in the subjects in which he participatd in the exam. We have also provided for the students the possibility of direct communication with their teachers through their smartphones or through the computers using the website or the smart phone's applications."
The Institute's director has stated about the headquarter of the new Hawza: "For spiritual communication with the Hawza of Najaf, which was founded 1000 years ago, the decision of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by its High Responsible Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, was to choose the Institute's headquarter in the old city of Najaf where is the headquarter of the Hawza, where was the house of Sayed Radhiyuddin Al-Mar'ashi in Al-Hwaych behind the Sheikh Al-Ansari mosque (Turk)."
