The Leadership of Imam Ali(AS) Brigade Holds its First Meeting After Receiving The Iraqi Prime Minister's Endorsement Of The Official Structure

The Leadership of Imam Ali (PBUH) fighting brigade held its first meeting in the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH). The secretary general had asked the prime minister to endorse the brigade officially. Abass Abo Tabeekh headed the meeting.

Abo Tabeekh said in a statement to the Media Centre of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) “We discussed our new role in the battlefield, deploying the forces, communicating with other regiments and brigades, and other military matters.”

“We deployed some of the fighters around the old city in Najaf. Also we deployed SWAT forces on the outskirts of the city,” he added.
