The Engineering maintnance Department repairs a blockage in the sewage system of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine

Within its plan and preparations for the winter season, the engineering e maintenance Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine repaired one of the main sewage lines located in the area between the two holy shrines, which was suffering from a blockage during the previous seasons.

After diagnosing the obstructive site, the technical staffs working in the department, have found it located at a depth of more three meters and a half, so it repaired it in a rcord time without any interruptions or change in any of the sewage pipes. The work has continued till late hours of the night to repair it by opening the blockages and removing old scales, as well as replacing the damaged parts by new ones to fit with the old pipe measurements, and its thickness of 800 mm.
It is to mention that the Engineering Maintenance Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is one of the important and active departments that includes many workshops and has many technical and engineering cadres. Its work is ongoing around th clock and in all the holy shrine's facilities. In addiiton to the maintenance works, it has conducted many large and small projects.
