Hujjat ul Islam Muhammad Dastanpur attended a session in a cultural center of Isfahan. The purpose of organizing the session was to commemorate Imam Hussain (AS) and the battle of Karbala. During his speech he said that wearing black dresses, raising flag of Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (AS) and doing self flagellation does not mean that we are the lovers of Imam Hussain (AS). The real lover is the one who follows the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
He said that as Shia Muslims we all believe that Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) himself invites people to commemorate the battle of Karbala and Imam Hussain (AS) himself attend the sessions. We must respect the presence of Imam Hussain (AS) and respect demands us to pay attention towards our inner character. We must follow the teachings of true Islam because this is the desire of Imam Hussain (AS).
He said that Imam Hussain (AS) is still present in this world and Imam Hussain (AS) is still inviting us to stand for right and justice.
In the end he said that anyone who support justice in this world is actually a follower of Imam Hussain (AS) and anyone who is supporting injustice is definitely a follower of Yazid.
