The division of providing water at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine: Thousands of litres of cold water are distributed daily to the visitors.

The head of the Division of providing water at the Department of service affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, has declared that the division distributed daily thousands of litres of cold water (RO) inside the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and in the area between the two holy shrines and in all fountains scattered in the roads leading to the holy shrine.

Mr. Ahmed Al-Hanoon added: "The division's staff working morning and afternoon are making great and exceptional efforts through the distribution of water, as this period is marked by the consumption of large quantities of water because of the higher temperatures and the increased demand, which requires additional efforts in terms of the working personnel and the water and ice."

Noting: "We were prepared this season since a long time and according to a set plan adapted to the needs of each site. And these amounts of water come from the filter station of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which is linked to another secondary station in the headquarters of the division of providing water operating under special cooling and storing systems, to enable storing water and deliver it cold to the stations."

Mr. Hanoon has explained: "There are teams distributed in every site, some of them are inside the holy shrine, others are in the surrounding area and other outside these spaces, working on a regular basis to not let the reservoir empty around the clock. We also perform maintenance and cleaning of all these stations and providing them by single-use's goblets."
