Sheikh Saad Khaqani explained the nature of the visit by saying: "His Eminence the Secretary-General, Mr. Nizar Habl al-Mateen visited Department and its Divisions. The secretary general started with Manuscripts Division, where he was briefed on the reality of the work which represented the restoration maintenance of manuscripts. The secretary General expressed his full support for the Division and the evolution of work in according to the proposals made to him in connection with the development work. "
Also, he visited the Libraries Division and he was briefed on the work plan for 2016 in the Division and the stages of progress in the plan. The secretary general expressed his admiration for the completed projects, stressing his full support to increase the number the books in the library for up to a million. He guided to communicate with the company that executes Western Expansion Project - dish Fatima (peace be upon her), to see the new location of the library in the project for proper planning and the division of their own areas and in particular areas of books donated to the Library of Imam Ali Mosque and libraries of scientific, literary and seminary figures, also expressed his support to create a digital library and to increase their number.
The secretary general visited retrieving the heritage to inspect the work and the obstacles. He agreed to increase the number of the specialist researchers to accelerate the work.
Also, the secretary general visited the Studies Division. He expressed his deep happiness for the new plan of the Division and agreed for opening new units (about al-Sahifa al-Sajadiya – studies of Holy Quran and Nahjul Balagha).
The secretary general visited Human Resources Development Division and inspected the type of training courses in this Division.
