Mr. Hasaneen Shab’, the official of the administrative unit, said in a statement to the Media Center “Our division belongs to the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department. It was established in 2014 because of the development of the holy shrine and its opening up to the world.”
“The center has an ambitious vision. It will be an educational bridge that connects us with others in a religious and humanitarian frame. We translate the religious, cultural, and intellectual books and especially those which are connected with the Islamic legacy in general and the heritage of Ahlul Bayt in particular,” he added.
“The center has three units, the administrative, Western languages, and Eastern languages ones. Now, the available languages are: English, French, Swedish, Turkish, Chinese, Urdu, and Persian,” he stated.
“The center has many tasks like translating books, brochures, booklets, the official website of the Holy Shrine, contracts, documents and any official letters in addition to interpretation. We send our qualified lecturers for the language courses that are held by the Human Resource Development Division as well,” he noted.
