This group of pilgrims included 28 Shi’ites Muslims from the U.S. and two other from India. The group visited Iran's holy shrines and historical and natural sites and enjoyed the services and programs of the management of non-Iranian pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi, attending Razavi Shrine's Kousar and Ghadir porticos.
The group got more familiarity with the historical and cultural exquisites of the country by visiting Qur'an and exquisites’ museum, treasury of the Supreme Leader's gifts, Mr. Farshchian's hall, and the central museum.
Kousar Fatima Hasan, the leader of the group, said, "When I get into this Holy Shrine, I feel a real sense of vicinity to the Imam (A.S.) and this feeling seizes all my heart. On the other hand, being present at this holy place waters my thirsty soul. In other words, my several visitations and attendances at this holy shrine do not make me tired at all.
Emphasizing that four of these pilgrims are visiting the Razav Shrine for the first time, she said, "When the pilgrims got into the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.), they were really amazed and were not able to express their inner feelings". She also said, "Attending this sacred place has had many spiritual impacts on them".
On the side line of the group's visitation from the treasury of the Supreme Leader's gifts, the supervisor of the group said, "Many historical and artistic objects are kept at the museums of Astan Quds Razavi. Visiting "Evening of Ashura" painting was really impressive, for example".
She continued, "Although I had visited the holy city of Mashhad in 2000 and 2015, I became really amazed by the architecture of the courtyards and porticos of the shrine".
Kousar Fatima Hasan referred to the tile and mirror works of the Razavi Shrine and stated, "All these works are the representations of the pure Islamic-Iranian art which can be found in such places only".
Referring to the group's shortage of time in visiting the Razavi Shrine, she added, "If non-Iranian pilgrims of the Razavi Shrine be accompanied by the expert people on the shrine's architecture, they would become more and better familiar with the pure Iranian architecture".
This originally Indian Shi’ite pilgrim, referred to the foreign negative propaganda against Iran and noted, "Cleanliness of Iran's places and streets and also hospitality and affection of its people were really admired by the group members. Also, peaceful atmosphere of this country was totally different from what we hear about Iran in the U.S.".
"During our travel to Iran, we visited different historical, touring, and pilgrimage places in Qom, Tehran, Shiraz, and Nishapur and the vastness of the efforts done to maintain the historical and cultural works even those back to pre-Islamic periods was very interesting for us", she asserted.
Regarding her demand from Imam Reza (A.S.), Kousar Fatima Hasan said, "I believe those Shi’ites Muslims who have not yet come to the pilgrimage of Imam Reza's (A.S.) Holy Shrine have a lost thing. So, I have always asked Imam Reza (A.S.) to give this opportunity to the entire world Shi’ites ".
It is notable that this group of American Muslims enjoyed other programs of the management of non-Iranian pilgrims' affairs of Astan Quds Razavi as well.
