Sa’ad Aabidi, the official of the Familial and Social Guidance Unit, said “Tableegh (Preaching) division begins its developmental, philanthropic, and guidance programs according to the instructions of the Secretary General. Familial Guidance Unit took care of the elderly and held assemblies for them. The unit made special program for visiting the holy shrines in addition to other programs that may fill them with hope and happiness. The program is done in cooperation with public Relations Department.”
At the conclusion of the program, Sheik Aa’bidi asked the Iraqi family to take care of the elderly for they are the abodes of Allah mercy. Imam Sadiq says in the exegesis of { and do not repel them}: if they beat you, say may Allah forgive you because that is the noble word you speak to them. And of {And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, "My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small."}: look at them mercifully and tenderly. Do not raise your voice or hand upon theirs and never walk in front of them.
