Religious sciences’ summer educational courses underway at Imam Hussein shrine

A series of summer educational courses have been held for students of different levels at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (A) in Karbala, Iraq.

According to the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine, “Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his glad advent); the Guide to the Right Path” is the motto of the courses, supervised by Sheikh Ahmad Safi, director of Imam Hussain (A) School.

Islamic jurisprudence, Islamic beliefs, Nabawi Seerah and ethics are the themes of the educational program, which has been underway at the holy shrine since July 16.

Sheikh Amir Al-Mawali, an organizer of the courses said that similar programs have also been organized in other cities of Iraq.

So far 1000 religious courses have been held by the Astan with the participation of 300 students in various provinces of the country.

Helping the younger generation get more acquainted with Islamic principles and the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (A) is the main objective of the courses.
