Iraqi Pilgrims Traveled the Route Najaf-Mashhad on Foot.

Iraqi religious ceremonial bodies reached Mashhad and the Shrine of the compassionate Imam following the route from Najaf on foot to express their condolences over the martyrdom to Imam Reza (A.S.).

It's not easy to walk for kilometers in the cold weather of the road, it's just a matter of the love for the compassionate Imam, which helped these pilgrims to endure the difficulty and the cold of the road in order to show their devotion to Infallible Imams (A.S.) and have the love of these immaculate figures in their hearts.
Today, these pilgrims, after days of fatigue and a suffered body have brought themselves to the Shrine of the Imam of Mercy, so that between the Husseini red path and Razavi strangeness, have made a bridge to the extent of love and express their affection with tears and a painful chant to Imam Reza (A.S.).
One of these pilgrims told our correspondent, “200 members of the Shabab-e Amir al-Momenin (A.S.) board, and Imam Reza’s (A.S.) religious retinue from different cities of Najaf, Diwaniyah and Shamieh of Iraq headed toward the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Shrine on foot to take part in the mourning ceremony of their grandfather.”
Seyyed Mahdi Hosseini, stating that these religious bodies in different occasions like the Ten Days of Fatimiya, Muharram days, the final Ten Days of the Month of Safar and the martyrdom of Imam Reza (A.S.) attend the holy Mashhad stated, “Some pilgrims from Najaf and some from other religious bodies from various cities and provinces of Iran traveled this route for fifty days until they reached holy Mashhad.”
“This spiritual journey brought with it a lot of fatigue and difficulties, but the love and dedication of these people to Imam Reza (A.S.) led the difficulties of the road to be overlooked and for the twenty-third time they stepped in this direction” he added.
“Walking is not describable, we only ask God to be remained steadfast and give this chance to all who believe in the Infallible Imams (A.S.)” Hosseini remarked.
