Ten custodians of Indian mausoleums, by the collaboration of the International Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi and the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in the country, while attending the Holy Shrine and benefiting from the pilgrimage of Imam Reza (A.S.), visited the central museum of Astan Quds Razavi and the treasury of the Quran of this endowment establishment as well as the Islamic Research Foundation, and also enjoyed the munificent banquet of the Holy Shrine’s Guesthouse.
In this delegation, the Under-Secretary of the Indian Minister for Minorities, and a number of religious scholars as well as a religious researcher were present, who applied for the conclusion of several memoranda of understanding in scientific matters etc., to the Director of International Affairs Center of the Astan Quds Razavi.
Also, the representative of the Minister of Endowments, Hajj and Pilgrimage of India during a meeting with the Director International Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi submitted his request for concluding an agreement to facilitate the transfer of Shi’ite pilgrims from India to Mashhad for the pilgrimage of Imam Reza (A.S.) and it was decided if possible, with the consent of other related departments, to provide conveniences to these devoted pilgrimages.
It is worth mentioning that the International Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi is in contact with cultural centers in five continents, and in addition to pursuing a continuous holding of the Muslim World Holy Shrines’ meeting, seeks to connect with the mausoleums of the world, and for this purpose, invites the mausoleums custodians in other countries for presence in the holy Mashhad.
