The outer walls of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (PBUH) in a new look after the completion of its restoration works.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has witnessed a set of projects for the architectural development of the holy shrine of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), as the specialized engineering and technical cadres have implemented tens of development projects, among of which is he project of strengthening the outer walls of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which is a part of the expansion and roofing project of the holy sanctuary.


The works were divided according to the plan developed by the implementing company; Ard Al-Qods company for Constructions under the direct and field supervision of the projects' department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, which director has explained to Al-Kafeel Network: "This project was divided into three parts, the first was in the western side opposite to the gates of Imam Al-Hussayn and of Saheb Zaman (peace be upon both of them). The second is in the southern side in the opposite of the gate of Imam Al-Jawad (peace be upon him) and the third is on the eastern side in the opposite of the gate of the Euphrates ('Alqami)."

Continuing: "The project has passed through several stages until arriving at its final form. The stages were as follows:

First: Uprooting the old Kashi Karbalai and removing the stucco waste and the old linking materials down to the original.

Second: Maintenance of these walls by treating its cracks using modern techniques and specific material for this purpose.

Third: Strengthening the original walls with a supporting concrete wall and an entire iron structure, using a thickness that was identified according to the need and in proportion to the dimensions of each wall.

Fourth: Fixing wires for the electricity, lighting and sound systems to connect it with the holy shrine's system.

Fifth: Fixing the pieces of the metal clamp that is away from the wall to install the tiles on it.

Sixth: Installing the streaky Kashi Karbalai, which is the same type used in all the corridors of the holy sanctuary to ensure the creation of a state of artistic and engineering symmetry.

Mr. Al-Sa'egh has also stated: "With the end of this project, we have finished an important stage to be added to other stages and works carried out in the holy sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), by taking into account in its implementation and finishing, the creation of a geometry symmetry with the rest of the parts of the holy shrine.”
