The lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) spent the last Friday eve of the holy month of God, the holy month of Ramadhan in the faith and spirituality atmosphere in the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUT).

The holy city of Karbala like the other Iraqi cities is characterized by a set of customs and traditions, as during the holy month of Ramadan, the Sayeds servants from the descendants of Lady Az-Zahra (PBUH) are used during the nights of the holy month, to distribute tea after the Iftaar (meal of breaking the fast) in the courtyard of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (PBUH).

On Tuesday evening, June 12, 2018 in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine a meeting was held between a number of Iraqi journalists and the officials of the humanitarian al-Wafa' campaign launched by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and carried out by the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad.

The works at the expansion project of the Maqam of Imam al-Mahdi (AS) are remarkably progressing according to the statement of the head of engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The head of the Astan Quds Razavi International Communication and Cooperation Office announced the establishment of specialized working groups by efforts of International Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi and through bringing into play the faculty and expertise of Razavi international servants.

“At the same time as the holy month of Ramadan, 20,000 cultural competitions were held on a daily basis, especially for non-Iranian pilgrims at Razavi Holy Shrine,” the director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said.

Blood donation center of Samen located near Sheikh Tousi entrance of the Razavi Holy Shrine was opened.

Head of Research and Introducing Razavi works Office said, “Works presented to the Supreme Leader by the officials of Central and Eastern Asia have been welcomed by the visitors at Astan Quds Razav’s museums”.

By the presence of pilgrims and neighbors at the Imam Reza’s (A.S.) Illuminated Court, the spiritual and glorious Prayer of Eid al-Fitr was performed.

Concurrent with Fitr feast, Holy Shrine of Imam Ali Ibn Musa al-Reza (A.S.) was replete with joy and happiness and sound of drum house (Naqarreh Khaneh) announced coming of this auspicious occasion.

Deputy Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, portrayed the activities of this religious-cultural establishment during the holy month of Ramadan.

The month of Ramadhan is the month of the Quran, as God honored it by revealing the Holy Quran during it, and preferred it over the rest of the months, "its days the best of all days, its nights the best of all nights and its hours are the best of all hours."

As part of its program of the holy month of Ramadhan, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine dedicated part of it to support the martyrs' families and orphans of the popular mobilization, who sacrificed their blood for the safety and security of Iraq and its sanctities.

The technical staffs working in the Engineering Projects Division and the Communications Division in collaboration with the Engineering Maintenance Department, installed fifty mural clocks (25 clocks of a single side, and 25 two-sided clocks) with attractive artistic designs that are harmonious with engravings of the holy shrine of Aba al Fadl al-Abbas(PBUH) on the one hand and with the main clock at the top of the Qibla gate of the holy shrine al-Tahir on the other.

As part of its program of supporting the families of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Iraq and its sanctities, and in honor of their blood in this holy month of Ramadhan, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by the Religious Affairs Department, has distributed, like usual in every year, food baskets for the martyrs' families of the popular mobilization and the needy families in the holy province of Karbala.

After being overshadowed by the dark thought that lasted more than three years, here is the city of Sinjar Mosul after being freed from the terrorist ISIL gangs breathing from the gate of the month of God the holy month of Ramadhan.

Within the framework of its program for the revival of the holy month of Ramadhan, the Department of Religious Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held a series of lectures on worship, at the afternoon of each day in the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas(PBUH) and in the presence of employees of the holy shrine and a number of visitors.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has transported more than 2500 visitors from the holy city of Karbala to perform the Ziyarat of the Shrine of the Two Imams al-Hadi and al-'Askari (PBUT) and to perform the revival rituals of the blessed night of Qadr in this holy place. This campaign was entitled "Campaign of reviving night of Qadr in Samarra", through the provision of a 90 busses to transfer back and forth the visitors to city of Samarra free of charge.

The Secretary General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH), Yusuf Mahdi Aal-Sheikh Radhi, honored the reciter and muezzin in the holy shrine Sayyid Hani al-Mousawi. Sayyid Hani won the second stage in the international Quranic competition held in Turkey.
