Among the working divisions that have a great role in sustaining the services and their continuity in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is the electricity division of the engineering maintenance department. It undertakes the electrical designs for the new projects implemented by the department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the development and maintenance of electricity networks inside the holy shrine and the areas surrounding it.

In line with the Quranic activities of the Al-Kafeel Women's schools affiliated to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the School of Fatima Bint Asad(PBUT) organized a special Qur'anic cycle aimed at women aged 12 years and above,

The latest results of the global ranking website of universities issued by the National Research Center in Spain, revealed that the al-'Ameed University of the Department of Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has entered this ranking website among Iraqi government universities.

Thanks to the great success and interaction of the first cultural Qamar forum held by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, a second forum was initiated with the participation of 150 participants from the province of Babylon, which varied among university students, teaching bodies and other groups, in the al-'Ameed University located on the road to Najaf - Karbala.

The Secretary General, the engineer Mr. Yusuf Sheikh Radhi, opened the new place for the Workshops Department. The newly developed department consists of main four workshops and seven secondary ones.

In cooperation with Iraqi Holy Shrines Renovation and Construction Committee, the engineering and technical staffs in the Technical and Engineering Department as well as other supporting Departments are continuing their works to complete al-Rasool al-Atham Courtyard.

The head of the Media Department, Mr. Fa’iq al-Shimari, as well as the head of the Public Communications, Mr. Ali al-Khafagi, represented the holy shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH).
